The army has geared up to teach the enemy a lesson over the increasing terrorist incidents in Jammu and Kashmir. To destroy the plans of the terrorists, a pistol has been included in the fleet of brave soldiers, which will kill the enemy in a moment.
The Indian-made ‘Aasmi’ pistol, which is light in weight, easy to carry, and equipped with many features, has been received by the Army’s Northern Command. Northern Army Commander Lieutenant General M.V. Suchindra Kumar also reviewed the newly inducted ‘Aasmi’ machine pistol on Friday. The Indian Army had inducted 550 indigenously developed Aasmi machine pistols in the Northern Command earlier this month.
The special thing is that the Aasmi pistol is a 100 percent Indian-made weapon. Aasmi is to be used for close combat and special operations in the Northern theater. Modern weapons are being added to the army fleet to accelerate operational preparedness in the Northern Command.
The Asmi pistol will make it easier to rein in terrorists. The inclusion of the weapon manufactured in India reflects the Indian Army’s unwavering commitment to self-reliant India. This weapon has been developed by Colonel Prasad Bansod of the Indian Army in collaboration with the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO).
