Accused arrested for making indecent remarks on Hindu deities on Facebook in Bijnor.

Outrage spread in Bijnor after posting objectionable posts against Hindu gods and goddesses on Facebook. The police have arrested the accused after registering a case.

An objectionable and obscene comment was made on a Facebook ID regarding the festival of Mahashivratri. There was also outrage among the local people regarding this.

When the complaint and the post went viral, it was investigated on the orders of the SP.

Then the Facebook ID was found to be of Kapil Kumar Sagar’s son Hemchand resident of village Jalalpur police station Badhapur Bijnor.

In this regard, a case has been registered against Kapil for hurting religious sentiments, under sections of the IT Act and defamation

. Police station in-charge Anuj Tomar told that the accused has been arrested.

The second wife attacked mother and daughter with a knife in Saharanpur, a dispute over-drying clothes

In the dispute over-drying clothes in Mavikala village, the second wife attacked the first wife and her daughter with a knife.

The police have taken the accused woman into custody. The police are interrogating him.

Naushad, a resident of Manvikala village under Kotwali Sadar Bazar, has done two marriages. The first wife is Jenua and the second wife is Ayesha.

Both live in the same house. On Wednesday afternoon, the two had a fight over some issue.

It is alleged that Ayesha suddenly attacked Jenua with a knife and also stabbed her one-and-a-half-year-old daughter Sidra’s throat.

Kotwali Sadar Bazar police reached the spot and took the accused woman into custody.

The injured mother and daughter were admitted to the district hospital, from where the girl was referred to the Higher Center by the doctors.

Inspector Sadar Bazar Harendra Singh told that there was a dispute between the two regarding the drying of clothes.

No one has filed a complaint yet. On receipt of the complaint, a case will be registered. The accused woman is being interrogated.
