Agricultural Reforms Actually Need For 21st Century India

Agricultural Reforms Actually Need for 21st Century India: Agriculture Reforms Bill 2020. In any democracy, the opposition has the right to protest, but it should be rational. Otherwise, it has the opposite effect.

In such a situation, the image of the opposition is adversely affected. Many such cases were also seen in the last six years. The opposition opened a front against the government, chaotic movements took place on the streets, but they had no effect on the government.

Opposition to the existing agricultural bills is also increasing in this direction, as the opposition is not in a position to show the benefits of the previous system. Right now the opposition is agitating. Speech and rhetoric are going on.

The interest of the farmers is being called for, but no one is saying what the farmers were getting in the system so far. It is also not being told what percentage of agricultural produce was purchased in the mandis.

No one is telling what role middlemen played in the previous system. No one is telling who was taking the real profit of agricultural produce in place of the farmer. The situation would have been clear if the opposition had responded to all this, but it seems that its opposition is fantasy based.

It is being said by the opposition that farmers will be ruined by the new agricultural laws, big companies will occupy their fields. There is another aspect to be considered here. What percentage of people can any government give a government job.

Today agitators for employment can answer this. During the rule of five or ten years, how many people did they employ. 97 percent of people of the country are living on private trade, employment in private companies, and agriculture only.

97 percent of these people also need to be taken care of. This is the purpose of these agricultural bills. There is no doubt that the old system had many shortcomings. In it, there were restrictions on the farmers, they used to get upset. In that system, people who were not farmers were benefiting.

They did not work as hard as farmers, they had nothing to do with the weather. In such a situation, needless to say, who can benefit from this opposition movement. The movement is running to protect whom.

If seen, the interest of farmers is being ignored in this. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has rightly said that in the country till now powerful gangs had arisen between the yield and the sale.

They were taking advantage of the helplessness of the farmers, while the coming of this law, the farmers will own both the will and the crop.

In such a situation, it can be said that Parliament has done the right by making historical laws giving rights to farmers. These agricultural reforms are really the need of 21st century India.
