Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government has set a target of ending this bullet train project by the year 2023 -24. This bullet train will run at a speed of 300 km on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad route in an hour.
Mumbai Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail is also known as Bullet Train Project.
This bullet train is named E Five Series Sinkansen. The target of completing its project was fixed for the year 2023. In June, the Ministry of Railways informed about the completion of this target.
According to the report, the project is being completed with the financial and technical assistance of the Government of Japan. The total estimated cost of the project is being reported as Rs 1,08,000 crore.
The completion of the Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train project has faced many problems. Recently, Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray ordered a review of the Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train project.
After which he faced opposition from tribals and farmers. Who claimed that his life was being snatched from them to complete the project.
