Air Chief Marshal VR Choudhary visited IAF’s Eastern AOR and flew Rafale with his son.

Air Chief Marshal VR Choudhary is on a three-day visit to the Eastern Air Command (EAC) Headquarters in Shillong for the annual EAC Commanders’ Conference.

IAF said Air Chief Marshal VR Choudhary, Chief of Air Staff (CAS) visited Headquarters Eastern Air Command (EAC) at Shillong from 07 to 09 September 2022 for the annual EAC Commanders’ Conference.

The tweet by IAF said, Air Chief Marshal VR Choudhary, #CAS was on a tour of IAF’s Eastern AOR.

During the visit, the CAS along with his son Squadron Leader Mihir V Chowdhury flew a Rafale aircraft as part of a three aircraft combat training mission at Air Force Station Hasimara.

The IAF further said, the flight flown by CAS and his son is a continuation of the best traditions of the Indian Air Force and underscores the importance of grooming and preparing our young leaders for the challenges of the future.

The CAS reviewed and appreciated the operational preparedness of the airbase and interacted with the personnel posted there.

He urged the personnel to continue their efforts to protect the skies of the country at all times.

India China Tension: By when will the process of withdrawal of troops be completed from Gogra-Hot Springs, the Ministry of External Affairs informed.

Tensions between India and China are expected to end with the initiative of withdrawal of Chinese and Indian troops from the Gogra-Hotspring area (PP-15) of the LAC in eastern Ladakh.

The soldiers of both countries have started withdrawing from the area of ​​Gogra Hotspring (PP-15).

Now the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said on Friday that the withdrawal process of troops from the area will be completed by September 12.
