ICRA estimates that the number of domestic passengers may reach the pre-Covid level in the fourth quarter of this financial year.

While the number of international passengers may hit the pre-Covid level in the second quarter of the next financial year.

ICRA said in its statement that the number of domestic passengers will continue to grow and it is expected that it may reach 97-98 percent of the pre-covid level in the current financial year itself.

The rating agency says that in the current financial year, the number of air passengers may increase by 71 to 73 percent on a yearly basis and it may increase to 324-327 million, which is 95-96 percent of the pre-covid level.

Talking to a news agency, RCRA head Rajeshwar Burla said that due to the improvement in economic activities, the number of passengers is increasing.

Also due to the festive and then holiday season in the coming times, it will continue to increase further.

Due to this, the income of the airport will also increase and the cash flow position will also improve.
