Al Qaeda Links Found With Assam’s Child Improvement Homes

Al Qaeda links found with Assam’s child improvement homes, money was being received from Turkish NGOs.

The Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) has requested the State Governments to conduct an inquiry into the child improvement homes which take funds from NGOs working internationally.

The NCPCR expected this on the complaint of an organization of legal affairs. The complaint relates to funding from an organization that has links with Turkey’s Al Qaeda.

The Legal Rights Observatory (LRO) has said in its complaint that six child reform institutes in Assam and Manipur are misusing funds received as donations. The funds received for child welfare are not being used for the specified purposes.

Turkish agencies are investigating

Priyanka Kanungo, head of NCPCR, said that these reforms receive money from home abroad but misuse it. This is a violation of the Juvenile Justice Act.

In the complaint, it has been said that the children living in the correctional home should be given corporal punishment.

Subsequently, a two-member team of NCPCR visited Assam and Manipur with teams from the State Child Rights Commission. These reform houses were funded by the Turkish NGO IHH.

This Turkish organization has been found to have links with the terrorist organization Al Qaeda. Turkish agencies are investigating him. Now investigation has also started in India.

Child Rights Protection Commission made a request to state governments

The NCPCR has requested all the state governments to find out the recipients of foreign funds and see who is sending them.

What is the purpose of donating? It has been recommended to conduct an investigation with a high-level agency.

Army chief leaves for a three-day visit to South Korea, to discuss defense cooperation

Today, from 28 December to 30 December, Indian Army Chief General Manoj Mukund Narwane has left for a three-day visit to South Korea.

During this time discussions will be held on increasing defense cooperation between the two countries. Along with this, he will meet with senior military officers.

He will also visit the Combat Training Center in South Korea during his three-day tour.

Manoj Mukund Narwane will also visit the War Training Center of South Korea during this visit. In addition, he will also visit the Advanced Defense Development in Daejeon Province.

Earlier on 23 December, Army Chief General Manoj Mukund Narwane visited the forward areas adjoining the border amid tension continuing along the Line of Actual Control in eastern Ladakh with China.

Explain that the dispute with China over LAC has been over 6 months.

Let us know that in February this year, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh also met his South Korean counterpart Jeong Keong Do.

Chief Minister of Defense Staff General Bipin Rawat, Army Chief MM Narwane, and Navy Chief Admiral Karambir Singh were also involved in this Ministerial Dialogue between the two countries.
