Al Qaeda Terrorists Attack On French Military Base

Al Qaeda terrorists attack with rockets on France’s military base, fire in military camps.

Islamic fighters associated with Al Qaeda attacked rockets at French military bases in Kidal, Menaka, and Gao, northern Mali, on Monday.

The attack is believed to be a counterattack on international forces. These attacks led to a fire in the military camps. However, there is no report of any casualty. In this area, 5,100 soldiers are spread to fight the terrorists.

Al-Qaeda-affiliated organization Al Thabat said in its statement that the attack on France’s military bases was supported by Islam and Muslims.

An eyewitness reported that a rocket attack was launched at the military base of the French army at around 5.30 am by several rockets.

After the attack, the sound of explosions was heard from the military bases. However, detailed information about the attack has not been revealed yet.

In the past, the French army has killed Bah Ag Musa, the military leader of the North Africa wing of Al Qaeda in Mali.

French Defense Minister Florence Parley had told that the army had done the work of terrorist Bah ag Moussa, who is believed to be responsible for carrying out several attacks on Malian and international forces.

France has been running a special military operation since 2014 to combat terrorism in the Sahel region.

Recently, the French army killed about 50 al-Qaeda terrorists by airstrikes at terrorist bases in Mali. The terrorists are believed to have attacked army bases.

The French Defense Minister was told that near the border of Burkina Faso and Niger, the French drone had seen a convoy of motorcycles on which missiles from two Mirage aircraft were fired.
