All Railway Stations Will Get ‘No Bill No Pay’

All Railway stations will get ‘no bill no pay’, rail passengers will get direct benefit: Big news. Keeping in mind the convenience of the passengers, the Indian Railways has made it mandatory to put a board of ‘No Bill-No Pay’ on all the stalls of the Railway stations.

Railways issued a guideline saying that it is mandatory to display the board of ‘No Bill-No Pay’ at the stalls at all the stations of all zones and divisions of Indian Railways. Also, it will be necessary to install a POS (Point on sale) machine, wherever there is a deficiency in following the instructions, provision should be made to take strict action against them.

Rajesh Kumar, Chief Public Relations Officer of East-Central Railway (ECR), said on Monday that increasing the convenience and authority of passengers, Indian Railways has issued a directive to all zones and divisions that no bill on stalls available at all stations. Displaying the no pay board and ensuring the availability of the POS machine is extremely important. Wherever there is a deficiency in following the instructions, strict action will be taken against them.

Fines for non-compliance with conditions

The Chief Public Relations Officer said that all the stalls available at the stations should arrange to bill the passengers on payment and the facility providers who fail to comply with these conditions will have to pay heavy fines. He said that in this way, this decision will prove to be a milestone towards the convenience of the passengers.

East Central Railway is always ready to serve the passengers. General Manager of East Central Railway Mr. Lalit Chandra Trivedi has asked to ensure compliance of these divisions to the Divisional Railway Managers of Danapur, Sonpur, Dhanbad, Samastipur and Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay.

All the DRMs should arrange to verify or check whether the stall has ‘no bill-no pay’ board and whether the POS machines are available and in their current form. Arrange for the bill to be paid to the passengers on payment and the facility providers who fail to follow these conditions should be fined heavily
