Amarnath Yatra: Funds Of 11 Crore Released For Managing Yatra

Amarnath Yatra: 11 crore funds released for managing Amarnath Yatra, instructions to make all preparations ahead of time.

To make the Amarnath Yatra a success, the state administration has provided an amount of 11 crores.

Finance Commissioner Arun Kumar Mehta has issued an order asking all departments to complete all arrangements for the Amarnath Yatra at the scheduled time.

The tourism department, which is responsible for the nodal department of the journey, asked the tourism department to work with the concerned departments to prepare the necessary action plan for the success of the journey and send it to the finance department so that the funds can be released accordingly.

For the smooth running of Amarnath Yatra, 11 crore rupees have been provided in the current financial year from April 1, 2021. Finance Commissioner Arun Kumar said that the funds should be used under the rules.

Work should be done under the available funds in the budget.

There should be no liability of any kind. For any work, approval has to be obtained from the Shri Amarnath Shrine Board and Finance Department. The Finance Department has approved the issuance of tenders for the works.

Let us know that this year’s Amarnath Yatra is starting from June 28. The yatra will last 56 days. The yatra will conclude on 22 August on the day of Raksha Bandhan.

Preparations are underway at the administrative level for this. Both routes will be repaired before travel. This time, Shri Amarnath Shrine Board has expressed the hope that around six lakh devotees will visit.

On the other hand, there is excitement among devotees to register for the yatra.

More than 13 thousand devotees got registration: In the registration for Amarnath Yatra started on April 1, so far more than 13 thousand passengers have registered.

Registration is being done at 446 branches of Jammu Kashmir Bank, Punjab National Bank, and Yes Bank. Teams of doctors have been authorized by all the State and Union Territory Governments for health certificates.

Preparations for travel arrangements are going on fast.

Repair work will begin in mid-April at the Yatra’s base camp Yatri Niwas Bhagwati Nagar. It is known that last year Amarnath could not travel due to the situation arising out of Corona.
