Anas Haqqani Denied Reports Of Internal Discord In The Taliban

Anas Haqqani denied the reports of internal discord in the Taliban, saying – we are all united.

A senior leader of the organization Anas Haqqani has rejected the talk of the ongoing rift between the Taliban.

After the Taliban’s interim announcement, there were reports of a dispute between rival factions of the group at Rashtrapati Bhavan. Now Haqqani has denied these rumors by tweeting.

In a tweet, Haqqani said, “The Islamic Emirate is a united front that highly respects a single line of Islamic values (Islamism) and Afghan values (Afghans).

We all stand united to bring peace, prosperity, and stability to our beloved Afghanistan.

Rumors were surfacing on social media that the Taliban’s interim deputy prime minister, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, was hurt during a dispute between Taliban factions and the powerful Haqqani network.

Baradar denied the claims in an audio clip earlier Monday, but no video or images had surfaced, media reports.

A blow to the Taliban from the IMF suspended relations with Afghanistan; This condition placed for funding

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has suspended its relations with Afghanistan. It has taken this step to wait till there is clarity on the recognition of the Taliban government.

The IMF said that its engagement with Afghanistan would remain suspended until the international community’s position on the recognition of the Taliban-led government.

The IMF said it was deeply concerned about the economic situation in Afghanistan.

This international financial institution has urged the global community to take immediate steps to prevent any humanitarian crisis in this country.

IMF spokesman Gerry Rice told reporters on Thursday, “Our engagement with Afghanistan will remain suspended until the situation in the international community is clear on the recognition of the government here.”

“We are guided by the international community regarding the recognition of the government in Afghanistan and we do not have any clarity right now,” he said.

That’s why the IMF program has been stopped there. Right now this country cannot access IMF resources.

Keeping an eye on Taliban promises: On August 15, the Taliban captured Afghanistan.

After this, several global leaders announced that they would see whether it fulfills its promises on issues such as inclusive government and human rights before recognizing the Taliban government.

The situation in Afghanistan, which is suffering from poverty and drought, is worsening after the occupation of the Taliban. Foreign donors have also stopped helping this country.
