Andhra Pradesh Government Said- We Are Pro-farmer State

Andhra Pradesh government gave Rs 12 crore help to about 10 lakh farmers, said- We are pro-farmer state.

The Andhra Pradesh government has helped more than 10 lakh farmers of the state with more than Rs 12 crore.

The state government has given an amount of Rs 1,252 crore to 9.48 lakh farmers under insurance related to the 2019 session on Tuesday.

This amount has been given to these people under Dr. YSR Free Crop Insurance Scheme.

The list of these 9.48 lakh beneficiaries registered under the scheme will be put up at the Raitu Trust Centers.

The state government had approved a crop insurance premium of Rs 122.61 crore for the 2018-19 Rabi, which was kept pending by the previous Telugu Desam Party government.

The crop insurance for that season was paid in June this year.

Apart from this, a total of Rs 596.26 crore was also paid to 5.94 lakh farmers. At the same time, for Kharif 2019, the state government gave a share of Rs 468 crore of the farmer and a share of Rs 503 crore to the insurance companies.

Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy said, ‘We have always been a pro-farmer state.

The schemes we have implemented have benefited the farmers for the last 18 months and gave the best example of how the government is taking care of its farmers.

“We have also decided to pay farmers under the 2020 Kharif Crop Insurance in the months of March and April, immediately after the harvesting is completed in January and February,” he said.

There was no problem with the party. There was a problem with the voting machine. This may be the reason for BJP’s victory. I have not yet decided to go to court on the issue of voting machines.

Results expected by 1 pm

The results are expected by 1 pm. Local body elections were held in Kerala in three phases. The third and final phase of the local body elections was polled 78.64 percent.

The second phase saw 76.38 percent polling and the first phase recorded 72.67 percent polling.

Section 144 is applicable in Malappuram and some areas of Kozhikode and Kasaragod districts to maintain law and order before the declaration of results.
