Anti-national Elements Can Spoil Atmosphere On Republic Day

Anti-national elements can spoil the atmosphere in Delhi again, intelligence agencies issued an alert.

Ahead of Republic Day, the country’s intelligence agencies have issued an alert.

The intelligence agency has issued an alert to security agencies including Delhi Police to keep a watch on those who were active in the protest against CAA-NRC and agricultural laws.

Security has been beefed up at the Red Fort and other important sites in the New Delhi area after receiving inputs from intelligence agencies.

The senior official said. Intelligence inputs have revealed that people wanted in Delhi violence can disrupt Republic Day.

According to the intelligence agency alert, some people wanted in the Delhi violence are in contact with anti-social elements to destabilize the normalcy in the country.

Social media has been used by Sikh for Justice (SFJ) and other terrorist organizations to give air to this conspiracy.

In the intelligence alert, it has been instructed to keep a close watch in their respective areas to avoid any untoward incident.

It is feared that on the provocation of SFJ, mischievous elements can also do anti-national activities like displaying Khalistani flags or wearing T-shirts.

At the same time, after the alert of the intelligence agency, precautionary steps have been taken to prevent any untoward incident in the Red Fort.

The borders of Delhi will be sealed from midnight of January 25-26. Heavy vehicles will not be allowed to enter Delhi on January 26.

Delhi Police Commissioner Rakesh Asthana says that tight security arrangements have been made in Delhi on the occasion of Republic Day.

There is always a terrorist threat alert in Delhi, so we have to be extra careful.

This year also we are on full alert. Security agencies are coordinating with Delhi Police to keep a watch on all counter-terrorism measures.

Police Commissioner said that a total of 20,000 jawans have been deployed in Delhi.

He said the total deployed force includes 71 DCPs, 213 ACPs, 713 Inspectors, Delhi Police Commandos, Armed Battalion Officers, and 65 companies of the Central Armed Police Forces.

The commissioner said that for the last two months, Delhi Police has been taking strict measures against terrorism in the national capital.
