Anup Gupta, Arrested In VVIP Helicopter Money Laundering Case

Anup Gupta, arrested in VVIP helicopter money laundering case. Entrepreneur Anup Kumar Gupta has been arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED).

He was arrested in connection with the money laundering case involving over Rs 3,600 crore related to the VVIP helicopter scam. Official sources gave this information on Saturday.

Gupta is the Joint Managing Director of KRBL Limited, which sells India Gate Basmati Rice. After his arrest, he was produced in a special court under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA). The court sent him to ED custody for five days.

ED sources said Gupta has been arrested in the AgustaWestland VVIP helicopter case. It is alleged that he was not cooperating in the investigation.

In this case, the custodial interrogation was necessary for light of some new evidence collected by the ED which related to the payment of a bribe to the company controlled by Gupta for the deal.

The agency said in its remand application that it had used two sources to pay a bribe of around 70 million euros to various political persons, bureaucrats, and air force officers.

IDS Information Technology and Engineering Circle, Tunisia received 24.4 million euros from AgustaWestland, out of which about 11.4 million euros were then transferred to Interstellar Technology Limited, Mauritius.

Let us know that AgustaWestland is the British subsidiary of Italy-based Finmeccanica. An agreement was reached with him for the purchase of 12 VVIP helicopters, which have now been canceled.

After allegations of irregularity, the ED had charged money laundering in this case. India canceled the deal in 2014.

This tactic of the leftists is very old, Ambedkar also warned the country about this

On the first Sunday of Republic Day, I went to the Singhu border in Delhi, thought that I would look closely at the farmers’ movement and understand it.

It is necessary to mention the whole day spent there and the one thing which was underlined there besides the movement. Demonstration etc. was going on in a normal way.

People were sitting in tents and under tractor trolleys. People were saying their things by going to the main stage. Then began to roam the protest venue.

People were moving around the venue in batches. Slogans were also being held in many places.
