Within two days, the security forces avenged his martyrdom. The security forces announced the end of both operations after the bodies of the slain militants and the weapons recovered from them were captured.

At the same time, in the last three days, so far, 12 militants have been killed by the security forces campaigning against terrorism in the Kashmir Valley.

At the same time, IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar, while confirming the death of three terrorists in Shopian and one terrorist in Anantnag encounter, congratulated the Jammu and Kashmir police and security forces for this success.

He also said that the terrorists were repeatedly asked to surrender. The help of his family members was also taken to persuade him, but he did not agree. So they were killed.

A militant was shot dead within an hour of the start of the Choprigam Kalan encounter of Shopian, which started on Saturday. Two other terrorists were also surrounded by security forces.

Keeping in mind the safety of the people living nearby due to darkness, the security forces decided to postpone the encounter till dawn. Meanwhile, the security cordon was further strengthened.

Security forces came to know that Faisal Gulzar Ganai, a 14-year-old terrorist, is also among the terrorists trapped in the siege. This boy ran away from home a few days ago and met the terrorists.

The security forces immediately called his family members and asked him to surrender along with her companions.

Military sources say that at first Faisal was ready to surrender, but Aladar commander Asif Shaikh, who was with him, stopped him from doing so.

Today, once again, the security forces gave Faisal’s family a chance to convince him to surrender but this time Faisal refused it. The security forces piled both the militants in the midst of the ongoing firing from both sides.

The three slain terrorists have been identified as District Commander Asif Ahmad Gani resident of Alibadar, Chitrigram Kalan Shopian, 14-year-old militant Faisal Gulzar Gani resident Chitrigam Kalan and Ubaid Ahmed resident Ganovpora Shopian.

However, the police have not officially revealed the identity of the slain militants. A large quantity of arms and ammunition has also been recovered from the site of the encounter. Search operation of security forces is going on in the area.
