Army Chief Naravane Said- Dispute With China Will Continue

Army Chief Naravane said- border dispute with China will continue in the border areas till the agreement is reached.

Amid the ongoing tension between India and China along the LAC in eastern Ladakh.

Army Chief General MM Naravane has said that till a border agreement is reached between the two countries, sporadic incidents will continue to happen on the border between the two.

The developments in the border areas along the LAC in eastern Ladakh add to the challenges of India’s ongoing legacy of “active and disputed borders” on the western and eastern fronts.

Army Chief MM Naravane, while addressing an event in the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry, PHDCCI, said that we have a big border dispute with China.

On China’s aggressive attitude, Army Chief General Manoj Mukund Naravane said that we are fully prepared to give a befitting reply to any misadventure in the future. We have done this before.

The army chief said sporadic incidents with China along the border would continue until a long-term solution to the issue was found.

Our efforts should be towards this point so that we can have lasting peace on the northern (China) border.

There is a need for massive resource mobilization along the northern borders. However, he also underlined that the corona pandemic has affected things to a great extent.
