Army chief Visited Military Hospital Satwari In J&K. Army chief arrived amidst heroes of the war against Corona in Jammu and Kashmir, said- face the challenge with courage.

In Jammu and Kashmir, the army is also fighting the war against Corona, along with protecting the borders.

In such a situation, Army Chief General MM Narwane, who visited the Jammu division, along with the heroes of the frontiers, also gave courage to the corona warriors of the army.

The army chief visited the military hospital in Satwari, Jammu before returning to Delhi on Wednesday and asked the corona warriors of the army to face every challenge with courage.

The Army Chief also honored several doctors and members of the nursing staff of the Army Medical Corps who had made commendable contributions to the current situation.

With this, he talked to some ex-servicemen of the hospital and assured them that they would get all possible support.

Army Chief reached Military Hospital around four o’clock in the evening.

Along with General Officer Commanding in Chief of the Northern Command of the Army, Lieutenant General YK Joshi and senior officers of the sixteen Corps of the Army were also present.

Earlier, Brigadier KJ Singh, Commandant of 166 Military Hospital, Satwari, spoke about the role being played by doctors and support staff of the Army’s Medical Corps in the ongoing campaign against Corona.

The Army Chief also inquired about the action being taken by the Army Medical Corps in Jammu and Kashmir to protect the soldiers from the corona along with the conditions arising out of the corona infection.

According to military sources, the Army Chief encouraged the doctors and medical staff, hoping that they would save their lives by intensifying their campaign against Corona.

During this, the Army Chief was also informed about the action to improve the facilities in the hospital, arrangements made for ex-servicemen, heroic women, vaccination, and the immediate needs.

The army has also enlisted the help of its retired personnel to intensify the war against Corona. The army has made 490 beds for people in Jammu and Kashmir and has arranged 490 beds with oxygen facilities.

The Army has set up a 250-bed Covid Care Center at Rangreth, Srinagar, and a 200-bed Covid Care Center at Domana, Jammu.

Along with this, 20-bed Covid Care Centers have also been established in Baramulla and Uri in Kashmir.
