Army Chief Will Inaugurate Memorial Site of Captain Manoj Pandey. Chief of Army Staff General Narwane will inaugurate the memorial site of Captain Manoj Pandey at Sitapur in Lucknow on 17.

Indian Army Chief General MM Narwane is coming to Lucknow on 17 March on a three-day tour. Army Chief Balidani will also visit the ancestral village of Paramvir Chakra winner Captain Manoj Pandey at Sitapur, where he will dedicate the memorial built by the army.

After becoming the Chief of Army Staff, General Narwane has visited Lucknow twice. This time he is coming for three days. He will also attend the conference to be held at the Central Command Headquarters on 17 and 18 March.

Whereas, on March 19, Sitapur will go to Kamalapur by helicopter. Where he will inaugurate Captain Manoj Pandey’s memorial site.

The Chief of Army Staff will also brainstorm with Operation Commanders regarding the modernization of the training centers of the Central Command and the current status of the border with China in Uttarakhand.

According to a senior defense ministry official, the army chief will also review the progress of the study between the Army and the Air Force to become the future theater command of a strategically important central command.

Studies are underway to coordinate between the Army units and the Squadron of the Air Force to form the Middle Theater Command in place of the Middle Air Command at Prayagraj.

The Chief of the Army will also hold a meeting with the officials of the Ministry of Defense regarding the Defense Corridor.

An alert has been issued in the cantonment regarding the arrival of the Chief of Army Staff for three days. Three Quick Reaction Teams have been deployed.

Indian Mujahideen militant Ariz Khan, convicted in the 2008 Batla House encounter 13 years ago, will be sentenced at 4 pm on Monday.

After this, both started moving to India in March of 2018. In this sequence, Cell first captured Qureshi and then Ariz. Ariz is an active terrorist of the Azamgarh module of IM.
