It is to be known that on Sunday, the SOG of Jammu Police had received information that TRF terrorist Yusuf Sheikh, a resident of Shopian Kashmir, has been seen in Jammu for the past few days.
Yusuf was seen at several sensitive spots in the city. The SOG jawans started keeping an eye on Yusuf’s activities.
On Sunday morning, when Yusuf came to the Jammu railway station to do recce, the SOG personnel already present there caught him. He was taken to Trikuta Nagar police station for questioning.
During the search of Yusuf, pistol and cartridges were recovered from him. After that, the SOG personnel took him from the police station to an unknown place.
After interrogating him, police information is being collected about his associates active in Jammu. Yusuf has come to Jammu many times before. Earlier he was staying in the Bathindi area.
The person at whose house Yusuf stayed in Bathindi has also been detained by the SOG jawans for questioning.
But this time the ears of the police and security agencies were raised by the information of his stay in a hotel. However, SSP Jammu has currently denied that he was staying in the hotel.
