Arsenal manager Michael Arteta again Covid positive, 3 cases in Barcelona.

Arsenal manager Michael Arteta has once again been found infected with Corona. After more than a year and a half, Michael Arteta has been found positive in the coronavirus test.

He will now be absent during the team’s Premier League football match against Manchester City on New Year’s Day. Arsenal gave this information on Wednesday.

Michael Arteta was also found to be Corona positive in March 2020 and then his positive result was instrumental in the suspension of the league.

Arteta is the third Premier League manager who is currently in quarantine after the Covid-19 infection. Earlier, Patrick Vieira of Crystal Palace and Steven Gerrard of Aston Villa are also in quarantine.

According to the Arsenal club, “Michael Arteta has gone into quarantine in accordance with government guidelines and we wish him well.” Arteta was previously the assistant coach of Manchester City.

Meanwhile, the Barcelona club in Spain has announced that three of its players Ousmane Dembele, Samuel Umtiti, and Gavi tested positive for COVID-19 ahead of Sunday’s league match against Majorca.

ATP Cup organizers revealed Djokovic’s withdrawal in the team update. In this 16-nation tournament, France has been included in place of Austria as Dominic Thiem and Denis Novak withdrew.
