In May last year, two smartphones of the Asus ZenPhone 8 series, Asus ZenPhone 8 and Asus ZenPhone 8 Flip were launched by the company.

These phones were introduced by Asus under the new name Asus 8z. The sale of the phones will be from the e-commerce platform Flipkart.

Why was the launch delayed?

Asus 8z is being launched in India after about 9 months. According to the report, the phone is being delayed in India due to supply chain and production disruptions due to Covid-19.

At the same time, due to the series trademark, there was a delay in launching the phone in India.

Asus 8z will get a 5.9-inch Full HD Plus Samsung AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The same Asus 8z Flip will have a 6.67-inch Full HD + Samsung AMOLED display.

Its refresh rate will be 90Hz. Snapdragon 888 processor support will be given in both phones. The phone will come with 16 GB RAM and 256 GB storage.

Asus ZenFone 8 and ZenFone 8 Flip both smartphones will work on ZenUI 8 based on Android 11.

Dual rear camera setup will be given in Asus ZenFone 8. Its primary lens will be 64 megapixels. Apart from this, a 12-megapixel lens will be given.

For the same selfie, a 12-megapixel camera will be given to the phone. ZenFone 8 Flip will come with a triple rear camera setup. Its primary lens will be 64 megapixels.

Also, 12 megapixels and 8-megapixel camera sensors will be given. There will be a 12-megapixel camera for selfies.

4000mAh battery will be given in ZenFone 8 and 5000mAh battery will be given in Asus ZenFone 8 Flip.
