Asus Introduces Four New Chromebook Laptops In India

Asus introduces four new Chromebook laptops in India, which will get powerful specs and features with a starting price of Rs 17,999.

Seeing the increasing demand for laptops in India.

Gadgets maker Asus has introduced four new Chromebooks in the entry-level segment with different features and spaces specially designed for students and teachers in the affordable range.

The new Chromebook laptop has been launched in partnership with Flipkart. The first sale of the new laptop will start from July 22 and its starting price starts from Rs 17,999 to Rs 24,999.

Unlike HP, Asus is completely dependent on Itel power for all the models launched.

Asus Chromebook: Asus Chromebook Laptop Price.

The Asus Chromebook C223 is priced at Rs 17,999 while the Chromebook C423 (non-touch model) costs Rs 19,999. There is a non-touch variant of the Chromebook C523 which costs Rs 20,999.

Simultaneously, the touch variants of Chromebook C423 and Chromebook C523 are priced at Rs 23,999 and Rs 24,999. The Chromebook Flip C214 is a convertible laptop model priced at Rs 23,999.

All these models will be available for sale on Flipkart from July 22 at 12 noon.

Specifications of Asus Chromebook C223, C423, and C523.

Asus says the Chromebooks C223, C423 (touch and non-touch variants), and C523 (touch and non-touch variants) can last up to 10 hours on a full charge.

The Chromebook C423 and C523 models can be opened 180 degrees to lay flat on the desk. All these models feature full-HD resolution as standard.

Asus uses Intel’s 64-bit dual-core Celeron processor paired with 4GB of RAM as standard and 32GB of onboard storage on the C223, while 64GB of storage is available on the C423 C523 models.

Asus offers the service of expanding the storage up to 2TB via microSD card. An HD camera and stereo loudspeakers are also present on all these models.

Chrome OS is working on all these laptops, so users will also get direct access to all Google Play apps and games. Users using Android smartphones can also experience better device integration.

Asus Chromebook Flip C214 Specifications.

The Chromebook C214 is a unique offering in this segment as Asus says it is a rugged laptop with a military-grade durability certification.

The laptop has an 11.6-inch display without touch input. The device is powered by Intel’s 64-bit Celeron dual-core processor and is paired with 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM.

This laptop comes in 64GB of storage and can be expanded up to 2TB.

The 50Wh battery of this laptop promises 11 hours of battery life on a full charge. Despite the durable design, Asus has given it a 360-degree hinge to allow students to use it as a tablet.

The laptop has an HD 720p webcam and stereo loudspeakers for attending classes and hosting meetings. There is also a world-facing 5MP autofocus camera for capturing images and videos.
