ASUS ROG Phone 5S Smartphone Can Be Launched Today

ASUS ROG Phone 5S smartphone can be launched with more RAM and better features leaked specifications.

ASUS can launch its latest ASUS ROG Phone 5S smartphone on 16 August i.e. today. However, the company is yet to confirm the new launch.

Ahead of the launch, some specifications of the phone have also been revealed, according to which the handset will come with Snapdragon 888+ 5G processor and 144Hz adaptive screen refresh rate.

Also, the ROG Phone 5S will offer up to 6GB of virtual RAM. Asus also launched a new version of its ROG Phone 3, the ROG Phone 3S this year.

The device will have a full HD + display.

As per the latest tip-off, the ASUS ROG Phone 5S will have the same design and features as its predecessor, the ROG Phone 5.

It will feature a notch-less screen with prominent top and bottom bezels and an in-display fingerprint reader.

It will feature a 6.8-inch full-HD+ (1080×2400 pixels) AMOLED screen, which can switch between 60Hz/90Hz/120Hz/144Hz with an adaptive refresh rate.

64MP main camera.

The ASUS ROG Phone 5S could be equipped with a triple rear camera setup that includes a 64MP primary sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide lens, and a 5MP macro snapper.

For selfies and video calling, there could be a 24MP front-facing camera.

ROG Phone 5S 6GB will run on Android 11 OS.

The ASUS ROG Phone 5S will be powered by the Snapdragon 888+ 5G chipset, paired with up to 12GB of RAM (plus up to 6GB of virtual RAM) and up to 512GB of storage.

It will boot Android 11 and pack a 6,000mAh battery with 65W fast-charging support. For connectivity, the device will support Wi-Fi 6e, Bluetooth 5.2, and Type-C port.

ASUS ROG Phone 5S official price and availability details will be announced at the launch which is expected to happen today. However, looking at the specifications, it could cost around Rs 60,000.
