Aus vs Pak Test: ICC reacts on the pitch of Rawalpindi Test match, Venue’s ratings drop.

The ICC has given its reaction on the pitch of the first match played between Australia and Pakistan in Rawalpindi. It has been described by the ICC as a pitch below average.

After this rating, this venue has got one demerit point. Let us tell you that the pitch is rated under the ICC Pit and Outfield Monitoring Process.

Match referee Ranjan Madugalle said in an official statement, “The behavior of the pitch did not change even once during the entire match.

Aus vs Pak Test: There has been no drop in the pitch apart from a slight drop in bounce.

The pitch didn’t have a lot of paces and bounce for seamers, nor was there any help for spinners on the third and fourth days.”

According to me, this was not a contest between bat and ball, so as per the ICC guidelines for this pit, the Rating was received.

Aus vs Pak Test: The first test match between Australia and Pakistan ended in a draw.

Only 14 wickets fell in the entire match. 252 runs were scored on the 5th day of the match and not a single wicket was dropped.

While it is often seen that the spinners get a lot of help on the 5th day but there was nothing like this here.

Former captain Inzamam-ul-Haq had expressed his concern about the pitch. He had said that he does not remember when such a Test match took place.

Apart from this, he also talked about getting a good wicket in the Karachi Test.

He also reiterated that Pakistan should make a pitch according to his strength to take advantage.

The second test match between Pakistan and Australia will be played on March 12 at the National Stadium Karachi.
