Waheed ur Rehman Para was brought to Srinagar on the Jammu-Kashmir police CID wing Kashmir transit remand. Para was arrested by the NIA on 25 November 2020. On January 9 this year, the court granted him bail.

He was then arrested by the Jammu and Kashmir Police. However, Para’s lawyer pleaded for bail and told the judge that his client had contested and won while in police custody.
