The Bombay Stock Exchange Sensitive Index Sensex opened 139.49 points higher at 43,967.59 on Thursday. In early trade at 9.28 am, it was seen trading at 43,854.19 with a slight gain of 0.06 percent or 26.09 points.

At this time, 16 of the 30 stocks of the Sensex were seen trading on the green mark and 14 stocks on the red mark. Largest Larsen & Toubro saw 1.56 percent and Nestle India shares fell 1.04 percent.

On the other hand, talking about the index Nifty of the National Stock Exchange, it opened at 12,906.45 on Thursday.

In early trade, the Nifty appeared to trade at 12,870.25 with a slight gain of 0.09 percent or 11.85 points at 9.31 am.

In the initial trade, out of 50 stocks of the Nifty, 29 stocks appeared on the green mark, 20 shares on the red mark, and one share traded without any change.

Nifty shares were the biggest gainers at this time in Mahindra & Mahindra, Larsen & Toubro, and Bajaj Auto.

Condition of sectoral indices

Talking about sectoral indices, in early trading 4 indices were seen trading on the green mark and the rest on the red mark.

Nifty Financial Services 0.15 percent, Nifty Financial Services 25/50 0.20 percent, Niti Pharma 0.44 percent, and Nifty Realty 0.14 percent.

At the same time, there was a decline of 0.25 percent in Nifty Private Bank, 0.18 percent in Nifty PSU Bank, 0.10 percent in Nifty Metal, 0.26 percent in Nifty Media, 0.48 percent in Nifty IT, 0.06 percent in Nifty FMCG, and 0.18 percent in Nifty Bank.
