Belgaum District Flood Victims Didn’t Recieve Relief Money

Belgaum district devastating flood victims didn’t receive relief money. A family of victims who have been living in the monastery for over a year; the Government’s promise of fulfillment. 58, 498 of the Belgaum district of which over 10 thousand households have not yet received relief money. Victims spend a year and a half today and tomorrow.

The entire Belgaum district was hit by last year’s devastating flood. The victims are yet to recover from a year. The victims are living on the street, losing their homes and crops. The community hall and monastery are currently sheltered. The survivors of the Malaprabha River Prava in Ramdurga Taluk in the district are still living today.

Hundreds of houses have fallen in the village of Avaradi in Taluk. So many families are still living the government’s promise. The house of a man named Mylarappa Ronald of this village had fallen in last year’s flood. Until now, the government has not received any relief, so the Ronald family lives in the village of Phalahareshwar. The family lives with a one-year-old child in a small house in the Math Cathedral.

The Sreelas here also notes that the Mylarappa Ronald family has no shelter and has given him a disadvantage. However, there has been no relief from the government so far. The government has been spending just over a year on promises.

Thus the victims are returning the protest and waiting for the government’s promise.

Yet this year also the floods in Ramadurga taluk have been damaged and crops have been heavily damaged. The farmers also demanded that the government should investigate the issue and provide relief.
