Bharat Bandh: Haryana farmers meet Agriculture Minister, support new laws.

A group of 20 farmers from Haryana met Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar on Monday and supported the new agricultural laws.

Describing himself as a delegation of progressive farmers, one of its members said that the group, led by Padmashree Kamal Singh Chauhan, met Tomar.

During this, he said that the government can amend some provisions of the new agricultural laws, but they should not be canceled.

Members of the delegation stated that they are representatives of Farmer Producer Associations (FPOs). The delegation also included Atar Singh Sandhu, national president of the Bharatiya Kisan Union (Atar).

Farmers were misled

After meeting the Agriculture Minister, Chairman of Progressive Farmers Club Sonepat, Kanwal Singh Chauhan said that the farmers who are agitating have been misled.

The PM has repeatedly assured that the MSP and market system will remain the same.

Significantly, on Tuesday 8 December, agitating farmers have called for a Bharat Bandh. Which is also supported by many trade unions and political parties.

24 opposition parties and organizations support Bharat bandh

Explain that the farmers are standing on the Delhi border against the new agricultural laws of the central government. Opposition parties, one after another, are coming out in support of the farmers.

Opposition parties have also supported the Bharat Bandh on Tuesday. Farmers Tuesday India is closed. All opposition parties, from the Congress to the Aam Aadmi Party, have announced their support for this bandh.

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal also arrived among the farmers in Delhi on Monday morning while in Uttar Pradesh, former CM and SP chief Akhilesh Yadav was taken into custody during the march.

SP workers took out Kisan Yatra in every district of UP. However, the Bharat Bandh of farmers has been supported by 24 opposition parties and organizations. These include Congress, left parties, and most regional parties.
