Seven Pakistani soldiers have died in an attack in Pakistan’s restive Balochistan province. The Pakistani army gave this information on Sunday.

The army said the rebels opened fire on a Frontier Corps checkpoint in the Harnai region of the province late Saturday, following which the encounter began.

Seven Pakistani soldiers were killed in this firing. A massive search operation was carried out by siege of the area.

The Pakistani Army said that with the support of the anti-national forces, the enemy forces have carried out the attack.

In addition, another attack occurred near a football club in Balochistan province. At least two people have died in this bomb blast while seven others were injured.

Police said the blast took place in the Panjgur area on Saturday evening. The injured have been admitted to a hospital in the local area. Just five days ago, 10 rebels were killed by security forces in Balochistan province.

It is known that the extremists associated with the Baloch nationalist organization have often attacked the security forces.

Just a few months ago, the Baloch rebels attacked an army convoy in Panjgur district, killing three soldiers and injuring eight others, including a colonel.

This was the third terrible attack on an army convoy in Balochistan after May. Actually, the citizens of Balochistan have been opposing the China Pakistan Economic Corridor.

The Pakistani military has been targeting people raising their voices against the government.
