Big conspiracy to shake Kathua district failed, 3 sticky bombs – three IEDs, remote control recovered: Jammu Kashmir.

Pakistan is now planning a big conspiracy to increase terrorist activities by bombing the peaceful districts of the Jammu division.

A similar conspiracy was hatched in Kathua after first activating former terrorists in Udhampur and carrying out two blasts.

The Kathua police thwarted this and recovered a huge amount of explosives from Malad village of Billawar on Saturday after interrogating Jaish terrorist Zakir Hussain, who was arrested last week.

The explosives, hidden in a bag, contained three sticky bombs, three IEDs, remote control, and some other equipment.

On October 2, the police nabbed Zakir Hussain from Malad village in Billawar with a sticky bomb an IED, and some Indian currency.

Zakir is a resident of Malad village. Since then the police have been interrogating him.

Kathua SSP Ramesh Chandra Kotwal told a press conference at the district headquarters on Saturday that the arrested terrorist Zakir Hussain was in contact with Jaish terrorist Farid in Pakistan through internet media.

It can also be said that the weapons recovered from Zakir have been brought here from Pakistan through drones. When and how this weapon came is a matter of investigation.

More things will come to the fore as the investigation progresses. Police’s Bomb Squad team is investigating the weapons and other items recovered.

Big conspiracy to shake Kathua district failed: The SSP said that the Kathua police had foiled a big conspiracy to terrorize district Kathua with the recovered weapons.

He said that it is clear from the recovered material that there was an attempt to carry out terrorist activities in Kathua or other districts.

He also said that the terrorist organization Jaish is trying to reactivate the old terrorists who have surrendered in the district, those who have been sentenced, and the terrorists who have gone underground.

He said that the challenge of drones is not only in the Kathua district but also on the border of the entire state and other states.

But Kathua Police is fully active and will not allow any conspiracy to disturb the peace here at any cost.
