Bihar Police Disclosed 28 Rounds Were Fired In Begusarai Shootout

Bihar Police disclosed that 28 rounds were fired to spread panic in the Begusarai shootout.

On September 13, in Begusarai district, bike-borne miscreants fired indiscriminately in four police station areas.

In this incident of firing, 10 people were shot, out of which one youth died during treatment. After 3 days in the case, the police have made a big disclosure claiming success.

Begusarai SP Yogendra Kumar said that a conspiracy was hatched to spoil the atmosphere in the area. The incident was carried out by 4 people riding 2 bikes.

Four people have been arrested in this. Among them, accused named Sumit Kumar, Yuvraj Kumar, Keshav and Chunchun have been arrested.

Begusarai SP Yogendra Kumar said that a total of 28 rounds were fired. Among the four accused who have been caught in this case, Yuvraj acted as a liner.

In this case, the SP has spoken of firing a total of 28 rounds. On the allegation of the family members that he was not involved in the incident.

The SP said that someone was directly executing this incident and someone was supporting it from behind. More research is needed on this in the future.

He told that a case has been registered against 8 people in this case. The people who were initially involved in the incident have been arrested. In the investigation, the police have taken help from CCTV.

ADG said that to nab the criminals, an intensive campaign was launched in Samastipur, Nalanda, Khagaria, and Lakhisarai. For this four teams were formed.

A special team of BMP and a team of STF were also engaged in research. Investigations were conducted inside and outside the jail as well.

Along with this, a reward of 50 thousand was also announced. CCTV was scanned from 22 locations.

ADG said that 4 accused have been arrested in the case. The bike and pistol used in the incident have also been confiscated. Sumit alias Chunchun is accused of 6 cases of murder, dacoity, and robbery.

Keshav alias Nagwa has also been arrested. The fourth accused Yuvraj Singh alias Sonu has also been arrested.

The motive of the criminals was to spread panic. The clothes worn by the criminals have also been recovered.
