BJP strongly criticizes CM Omar Abdullah’s advocacy for Rohingyas and Bangladeshis in Jammu, calling it a threat to state security and raising questions about human rights priorities.
They can show humanity even to terrorists’, BJP’s harsh words on CM Omar Abdullah on the Rohingya issue. The state BJP said that Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, who is advocating for Rohingyas and Bangladeshis illegally settled in Jammu, can also show humanity towards terrorists.
Describing Rohingyas and Bangladeshis as a big threat to the security of Jammu and Kashmir, the BJP said that the Omar government cannot give benefits to people involved in crime, Drug trafficking, and terrorism in the name of human rights. If humanity is shown towards these infiltrators working against the country, then it will become difficult to run the government in the state.
Reacting to the Chief Minister’s statement of showing humanity towards Rohingyas and Bangladeshis settled in Jammu, BJP’s chief spokesperson Sunil Sethi said that Omar can also advocate for providing electricity, water, and food to terrorists tomorrow citing their human rights.
On Wednesday, Sethi spoke during a press conference at the party headquarters. He said that those who come from other countries and settle illegally do not fall under the purview of human rights. What kind of government conspiracy is going on in Jammu and Kashmir? What kind of situation does the Chief Minister want to create here?
BJP leaders GL Raina and Vivi Sharma were also present with him. The chief spokesperson said that the Rohingyas and Bangladeshis settled in Jammu have made Aadhaar cards and have also cast their votes in the local body elections.
They have been used for vote banks. In such a situation, a detailed investigation is necessary in the matter of their settling in Jammu. There is strong information that some NGOs are working to settle Rohingyas and Bangladeshis in Jammu.
Cornering the political parties of Kashmir on the killing of Hindus in Bangladesh, the chief spokesperson said why are Farooq, Omar Abdullah, and Mehbooba Mufti not saying that the killings of Hindus in Bangladesh are a violation of human rights.
The BJP leader questioned whether your politics is the politics of a particular religion. Will only Hindus raise their voice on the situation in Bangladesh? We strongly oppose this. He warned NC, PDP, and Congress that parties cannot protest on selected issues.
Why are those who cry for human rights violations silent now? Like BJP, other political parties should also come forward and protest on this issue. He said that the number of Hindus in Bangladesh and Pakistan is continuously decreasing. But in India, the number of minorities is continuously increasing.
