Britannia Will Increase Participation Of Women In Its Workforce

Britannia will recruit more and more women, know what is the plan for 2024.

FMCG major Britannia Industries Limited has said that it aims to achieve a diversity ratio of 50 percent by 2024 by increasing the participation of women in its factory workforce.

BIL’s Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) Amit Doshi said that currently, 38 percent of the company’s factory workers are women.

So far the company has provided the capital of Rs 10 lakh each to 30 women entrepreneurs for start-ups in areas like e-commerce, digital services, ophthalmology care through mobile vans, and child education.

Affordable housing sales fall, more demand for houses above 75 lakhs.

The contribution of affordable segment housing sales up to Rs 45 lakh to total housing sales during 2021 declined to 43 percent from 48 percent in the previous year.
