BRO will hoist the tricolor at 75 places on August 15. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will start many programs, BRO will hoist the tricolor at 75 places.

Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will today flag off 75 teams of Border Roads Organization (BRO) to 75 places located in remote borders on August 15.

This program will be online. This information was given in a statement issued by the Ministry of Defense on Thursday.

According to this, the BRO will hoist the national flag on 75 important mountain roads and other places of the country.

The army along with various teams will cross 75 mountain passes for this momentous occasion.

These include Saserla Pass in the Ladakh region, Stekpochan Pass in the Kargil region, Satopanth, Harshil, Uttarakhand, Phim Karnala, Sikkim, and Point 4493 in the Tawang region of AP.

Apart from this, a program of the National Cadet Corps (NCC) will also be flagged off by the Defense Minister today.

To pay tribute to the freedom fighters and the heroes of the country for their important role in the independence of India, the NCC will organize an all-India event ‘ Salute to the Freedom Fighters’.

Under the program starting from today, the Indian Coast Guard will unfurl the tricolor on 100 islands of the country under the ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ on August 15 and this program will also start from today.

Apart from the challenges on the international border, BSF is also the first in humanity, helping people by conducting medical camps

The Border Security Force (BSF) under the South Bengal Frontier is at the fore in humanitarian work along with dealing with the security challenges of the International Border.

Various battalions of the frontier are helping the people of the border area by organizing medical camps from time to time.

In this sequence, the 08th Corps organized a free medical camp on August 11 at Pakhiura, a border village in Nadia district.

The event was organized in the presence of Iqbal Singh, Chief Medical Officer, BSF.

In this medical camp, the people of Pakhiura village were given free medicines after medical examination.

There was a lot of enthusiasm towards this program among the villagers and the people’s representatives expressed their heartfelt gratitude for this work of the Border Security Force.

They requested that such programs should be organized from time to time so that the border residents and the force would be affected. Maintain good coordination.
