BSF Arrested Seven Bangladeshi Nationals From Nadia District

BSF arrested seven Bangladeshi nationals from Nadia district of West Bengal. Seven Bangladeshi nationals have been apprehended by the BSF in Nadia district of West Bengal on Wednesday. Giving information about this, the BSF said that seven Bangladeshi civilians have been apprehended by the soldiers of the Army Border Out Post- Mahendra, 08 Battalion.

The Border Security Force (BSF) was informed about the presence of some unknown persons on the outskirts of village Ghazna. A BSF release said, “Acting on specific information passed by the villagers of Ghazna village on August 26, 2020, Bishnu Mahendra, Assistant Commandant, BOP Mahendra prepared a quick response team and proceeded to the border. At around 11:30, the soldiers saw seven people including two women and a child (03 years) on the Ghazna-Tarakpur road while waiting for the vehicle.

When the BSF asked them about their identity and they could not show any valid Indian identity documents, the BSF arrested them. On initial questioning, these people revealed that they had come to India from Bangladesh last night, the release said. Identification of those taken into custody Sakil Sheikh (30), Mo. Raheem (23), Sumi Aktar (22), Parul Akhtar (26), Koli Begum (24), Champa Begum (26), and Yasin Sekh (3).

“During the interrogation, it is learned that 02 women were going to Hyderabad and the rest of the workers were going to Chennai for work,” the release said. According to the release, “It has been learned that the women who have gone to Hyderabad have already worked in the house of Barangal near Secunderabad bus stand there, they used to work as babysitters here. Whereas, Chennai-based Ilyas Was about to meet a man who had arranged for him there. ” The release said that all the arrested persons are being handed over to Police Station Hanskhali, District Nadia, West Bengal.
