Burnley Held Manchester United To 1-1 Draw

Burnley held Manchester United to 1-1 draw, team out of top-4.

Manchester United’s poor performance continued and the team had to play a 1–1 draw against Bernal, the lowest-ranked side in the points table in the English Premier League.

The loss also saw manager Ralph Rengnik’s team drop out of the top-four of Manchester United’s points table. The team is in fifth place with 39 points.

At the same time, Burnley has 14 points while Manchester City is on top with 57 points.

Manchester United’s superstar striker Cristiano Ronaldo is not in the form right now and it is also affecting the team’s results.

Ronaldo could not score any goal for the team for the last five matches. This is their worst performance at club level without a goal since 2010.

Ronaldo also missed a penalty in the first half of the FA Cup against Middlesbrough in the previous match. However, the second half remains a matter of concern for United.

In this match too, the team scored a goal in the second half and the match was drawn.

Earlier, in the match against Middlesbrough, United had scored a goal in the second half, and then the match was lost in a penalty shootout.

The match started well for United. Paul Pogba scored in the 18th minute with the help of Luke Shaw from inside the box.

Burnley’s Jay Rodriguez scored in the 47th minute to bring the team back into the match and level the score at 1-1.

However, after that United’s striker could not score any goal, due to which Burnley was successful in drawing the match.

In other matches, Newcastle beat Everton 3–1. Meanwhile, West Ham beat Watford 1-0.

Pakistan’s batsman Fakhar Zaman is ranked 9th while England’s Joe Root has secured 10th position. India’s Virat Kohli remains at number two while captain Rohit Sharma remains at number three.
