A case has been registered against Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state president Annamalai, former national secretary H. Raja and more than five thousand people.
According to a police official, the case has been registered for protesting and marching toward the state secretariat in Chennai on Tuesday demanding a reduction in petrol and diesel prices without permission.
BJP workers along with Annamalai marched towards the Secretariat in Chennai. Annamalai condemned the state government for not reducing taxes on petrol and diesel.
