CBI Raids homes of former Minister Lal Singh in Jammu-Rajbagh-Kathua: CBI Raid. The Deputy Commissioner of Kathua also ordered the concerned SDM to investigate the property in his name in Hiranagar Basohli Bilawar Kathua Bani in district Kathua.

The CBI raided his residence in Jammu, Kathua, and Rajbagh together on Tuesday morning while clamping down on former MP Chaudhary Lal Singh. He did not even inform the district police that the CBI team reached the house of the former MP directly with a full team force. The district police came to know about the raid after entering the house.

You are aware that the CBI was investigating for the last one month on raising funds and capturing government land in the name of RB Educational Trust formed by Lal Singh. During this investigation, a week ago, all the deputy commissioners of the Jammu division were ordered by the CBI to investigate the property in the name of Lal Singh’s family members, including his wife former legislator Kanta Chaudhary, his son and daughter.

After which the Deputy Commissioner of Kathua also ordered the concerned SDM to investigate the property in his name in Hiranagar, Basohli, Bilawar, Kathua, Bani in district Kathua. It is being told that on the basis of this investigation, the CBI conducted the raid on Tuesday.

Registering a case against former Jammu and Kashmir minister Lal Singh, his family members, and some government officials involved in the trust. It is being said that a lot of disturbances have been committed in the name of RB Education Trust in District Kathua.

According to official sources, raids have been conducted by the CBI teams at around nine places since morning. Three of them are in Jammu and six in Kathua. The RB Educational Trust also includes former minister Lal Singh along with his wife, sons, and the name of the Deputy Commissioner of Kathua at the time when this trust was created.
