The network involved in the smuggling of Indians in the Russia-Ukraine war zone was busted, and CBI raids at more than 10 places in 7 cities.
CBI has busted a big human trafficking network. This racket used to take Indians to the Russia-Ukraine war zone under the guise of providing jobs abroad.
CBI is conducting raids at more than 10 places in seven cities. Many people have been detained during the search.
Officials said on Thursday that the operation is underway at more than 10 places in Delhi, Thiruvananthapuram, Mumbai, Ambala, Chandigarh, Madurai, and Chennai.
An FIR has been lodged against various visa consultancy firms and agents for sending youth to work in the Russia-Ukraine war zone in the guise of lucrative jobs.
Till now, apart from cash worth Rs 50 lakh, documents, and electronic records like laptops, mobile, desktops, etc. have also been seized.
35 cases were reported.
It is noteworthy that till now about 35 cases of victims being sent abroad have come to light. Cases of the death of two Indians while fighting as auxiliaries on behalf of the Russian army in the Russia-Ukraine war have also come to light.
These include 23-year-old Hemil Mangukiya from Surat, Gujarat, and Mohammad Asfan from Hyderabad. He was lured into Russia and forced to fight the war there.
The Indian aviation authority, DGCA, has approved Airbus’s next-generation H160 helicopter.
More than 100 helicopters from Airbus, including the single-engine H125 and Dauphin, are being operated by various entities in the country.
What did Airbus say?
Airbus said on Thursday that its H160 helicopter has been given the approval letter by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).
The multi-role helicopter H160 can be used for purposes including emergency medical services, offshore transportation, private and commercial aviation, and public services.
Sunny Guglani, head of Airbus Helicopters India and South Asia, said the DGCA approval will pave the way for the introduction of the world’s most advanced helicopters in India.
It will start with corporate customers. After this, it can be deployed in other types of missions also.
