CBI Starts Investigation After Registering Case In Hathras Incident

CBI starts investigation after registering the case, a team of Ghaziabad unit reaches Hathras: Hathras case. On Sunday, the Anti Corruption Branch of CBI Ghaziabad has registered a case in the Hathras incident including murder, gang rape, SC-ST Act, and murderous attacks, and started the investigation by reaching Hathras.

The CBI starts investigation based its case on the FIR lodged on September 14 by the girl’s brother at Chandpa police station in Hathras. The investigation will be carried out by women deputy SP Seema Pahuja.

CBI took FIRs and documents from Hathras police on Sunday. The CBI has definitely involved the rape in the case, but earlier this was not confirmed in the post mortem report of Safdarganj Hospital and the forensic lab in Agra.

Now the full truth of the Hathras incident will be revealed in the CBI investigation.

The Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh had decided to conduct a CBI inquiry on the Hathras incident on October 2, and the next day the Home Department sent a CBI inquiry letter to the Ministry of Home Affairs.

The Central Personnel and Training Department had issued a CBI inquiry on Saturday, following which the Ghaziabad unit of CBI has started an investigation by registering a regular case in the Hathras incident on Sunday.

Apart from murder and gang-rape, CBI has registered its FIR under the murderous assault and SC-ST Act.

The CBI has submitted the case to the woman deputy SP. The CBI has obtained several other documents from the Hathras police from the FIR lodged in connection with the incident.

CBI will soon start a series of inquiries from local police officers and personnel regarding the incident. It will also record the statement of the woman’s family and other witnesses.

SIT will continue its investigation: The SIT constituted under the chairmanship of Secretary Home Bhagwan Swaroop will soon complete its investigation and submit a report to the government.

Additional Chief Secretary Home Avnish Kumar Awasthi says that the SIT has been entrusted with the investigation of the role of police before the incident in Hathras and after the FIR was registered.

The SIT has recorded statements of the woman’s family, local police officers-personnel, and others. The SIT will soon submit its report to the government.

CM Yogi SIT was formed: On September 30, a three-member SIT was formed on the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, which includes DIG Chandra Prakash and SP Poonam as members.

The SIT was given seven days to investigate. The government later gave SIT an additional 10 days to complete the investigation.

SIT investigates and CBI will investigate: Former DGP Brijlal says SIT has investigated, while CBI will investigate the incident. Both the CBI investigation and SIT investigation are different.

He says that the government can take action against the police officers and personnel concerned about the deficiencies and mistakes found in the SIT investigation, but its investigation cannot be part of the investigation of the incident.

If CBI wishes, it can take its investigation report from SIT. Keep in mind, based on the first report of the SIT, five policemen, including SP Vikrant Veer of Hathras and the then CO Ram word, were suspended.

The state government will reply in the High Court on Monday: In the Lucknow bench of Allahabad High Court, the issue of the funeral of the victim of the Hathras incident will be heard on Monday.

The case has been listed before the Bench of Justice Pankaj Mittal and Justice Rajan Roy under the title ‘Right to the funeral in a dignified manner’.

Taking automatic cognizance of this case on October 1, the court summoned Additional Chief Secretary Home, Director General of Police, Additional Director General of Law and Order, District Magistrate Hathras, and Superintendent of Police Hathras.

The court had also asked the deceased’s mother-father, brother, and sister to be present. They will also be present on Monday.
