CDS General Rawat Exposed Pakistan On ceasefire

CDS General Rawat exposed Pakistan on ceasefire, on one hand, ceasefire, on the other hand, neighbors sending arms and drugs from drones.

Chief of Defense Staff (CDS) General Bipin Rawat said on Tuesday that a ceasefire has been going on along the Line of Control (LoC) for the past few years.

But the country’s internal peace process was disrupted by sending arms and drugs through drones from the neighboring country.

General Rawat told in an interview that a ceasefire does not mean that there should be a ceasefire on the borders, but on the other hand, you continue to create trouble in our interior areas.

General Rawat said that India and Pakistan had agreed in February this year to strictly abide by all agreements, understanding, and ceasefire along the Line of Control (LoC) and all other areas.

CDS Rawat said that the ceasefire is continuing on the LoC so far, which is a positive sign.

At the same time, we are seeing that ammunition and weapons are being sent through drones. This is not good for peace.

On the thematization of the army, General Rawat said that the process is going well, and the progress so far is satisfactory. In three services we are able to solve most of the issues.

It is a better understanding that if all three services are integrated, they can make a significant difference.

I think by doing this we will ensure better efficiency and utilization from our existing services. I think we will be better prepared for war in the future.

People of the state now want to see an atmosphere of peace in Jammu and Kashmir.

He said that the people of Jammu and Kashmir have witnessed a lot of terrorism and extremism in the last few years.

People are now looking forward to the return of peace, especially after the abrogation of Article 370.

If this continues, the time will come when people themselves will turn away from violence and will not allow extremism to flourish.

He said that militancy and terrorism in the Valley cannot survive without the support of the local people. Today there is a need to identify the misguided youth in the Valley and keep them away from terrorism.
