Center Does Not Have Any Blueprint For Kashmiri Pandits

Center does not have any blueprint for Kashmiri Pandits’ return to Valley.

The Reconciliation Return and Rehabilitation of Migrant Organization said that yet the Center Government does not have a blueprint regarding the Valley’s return to Kashmiri Pandits.

It seems that Kashmiri Pandits have been entangled only in promises. In reality, no work has been done in this direction.

In a press conference on Saturday evening, State President Satish Mahaldar said that for the last 30 years, the Kashmiri Pandit is away from his home, but the government is not finding any way for his return.

However, many promises were made to Kashmiri Pandits in the elections. Now all the hurdles have been removed, but there is no plan for the return of Kashmiri Pandits in the government’s agenda.

Mahaldar said that Kashmiri Pandits who have been away from their motherland in the valley want to join their culture.

Within the purview of the Indian constitution, they can be settled in Kashmir in a proper place or in their own homes amidst complete security. But for this, the government should prepare a blueprint.

The talks are happening in the mere promise and Kashmiri Pandit is completely confused. The Center does not have any blueprint for Kashmiri Pandit’s return to Kashmir.

Mahaldar said that after the abolition of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, now the Central Government has secured 4.2 lakh kanals of land for the people of the country to invest here.

In such a situation, Kashmiri Pandits are asking the government why 300 kanals of land are not secured for the return of the residents of Jammu and Kashmir who have been displaced from the valley when the land has been secured for outsiders.

Kashmiri Pandits are being misled in the name of jobs

Satish Mahaldar, the head of Reconciliation Return and Rehabilitation of Migrants, said that the Jammu and Kashmir administration is misleading Kashmiri Pandits even for new jobs.

The accounts of previous jobs have not been completed yet. There were six thousand jobs for Kashmiri Pandits under the Prime Minister Employment Package.

But only half the posts could be filled. The remaining posts have not been filled to date.

The Central Government and the Jammu and Kashmir administration should first fill the outstanding posts. Sunil Pandit, Bhavishya Kaul, MK Yogi were also present on the occasion.

The People’s Alliance for Group Declaration (PAGD) has decided to enlist the help of Kashmiri Pandits to further their agenda. A section of Kashmiri Pandits has also agreed to it.

In return, the PAGD will spend one percent of the annual budget of Jammu and Kashmir separately for the welfare of Kashmiri Pandits every year, along with ensuring the return and rehabilitation of Kashmiri Pandits to the plaintiff.

Not only this, the PAGD has assured the representatives of various political, business, and social organizations that it is not against the Indian Constitution or the national flag to increase its scope and influence in Jammu province.

Its fight is only for the specific socio-cultural-political identity and rights of Jammu and Kashmir and its citizens.
