Chennai Airport Started Its Service Across The Country

Chennai airport started its service between the Corona era, special care is being taken for the safety of passengers. Authorities have informed that flights have been resumed keeping in mind all the safety norms.

Chennai International Airport has resumed operations across the country amid the Corona epidemic. Officials said that touchless points, hand hygiene, and passengers’ belongings are being well-deprived well keeping safety in mind. Apart from this, isolation rooms have also been made at the airport for emergency facilities.

Sunil Dutt, director of Chennai International Airport, told the leading news agency, “People have become quite aware of the measures to prevent the virus. We have noted that people are following the precautionary norms as soon as they enter the airport.”

“To help the passengers, the airport workers are talking to them about following the new social norms, which will benefit all of us,” Dutt said.

Srinivas, a passenger at the airport, said, “The authority is providing a safe journey. The process (touchless) is convenient for us. We have been given a sanitizer, face shield, PPE kit, which makes us feel safe.”

Another passenger Kumar Pranjal said, “The Airport Authority of India is providing very good service. During the COVID-19 epidemic, they are paying attention to all the precautionary methods.”

Meanwhile, The Center told Karnataka government, no objection to the change of the name of Hubli railway station.

The government of India has said in a letter to the Government of Karnataka that it has no objection to the renaming of Hubli railway station.

“We have no objection to changing the name of Hubli Railway Station to Shree Siddharoodha Swamiji Railway Station Hubballi,” it has been written on behalf of the Central Government Secretary.
