Chief commander of Hizbul Mujahideen killed in an encounter with security forces, a terrorist captured alive: Encounter in Kashmir.
Security forces have achieved a major success against terrorists on Sunday. An encounter between security forces and militants took place in the Rangreth area of Srinagar.

According to the Kashmir IG, late Saturday night, police received information about the hiding of militants in a house located in the area of Rangreth, Srinagar.
Soon after, on Sunday, police and security forces, while conducting a joint operation, tried to surround the hideout of the terrorists. During this time, the militants started firing on the security forces.
The security forces first warned surrendered militants hiding. Repeatedly the terrorists were asked to surrender but the militants ignored it and started firing on the security forces.
In response, police and security forces have also started firing against terrorists during the joint operation. During this time the local people also started throwing stones at the security forces.
Security forces were trying to get the terrorists to surrender at any cost. Last month also, the security forces were successful in getting the militants to surrender. The relatives of the terrorists also played an important role in it.
Chief commander of Hizbul Mujahideen was killed during an encounter between security forces and militants. He has been identified as Sefulullah.
A large number of arms, ammunition, and other items have been recovered from the encounter site.
Meanwhile, the state DGP Dilbag Singh has made it clear that operation all out will continue even in the winter season. If the terrorists want to surrender then they will also be given a chance.
Dr. Saifullah was made Hizbul its commander after the death of Hizbul Mujahideen Chief Commander Riyaz Naiku in May this year.
