Chinese Soldier Caught By The Indian Army In Eastern Ladakh

Chinese soldier caught by the Indian Army who entered the border in eastern Ladakh. On Monday, Indian troops caught a Chinese soldier who has crossed the border, amid heavy tension on the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in eastern Ladakh.

Some papers and documents related to the Chinese Army have been found from him. Initial investigations have revealed that the detained Chinese soldier wandered into the Indian border in the Demchok area of Ladakh.

That is why the Indian Army has announced to release the Chinese soldier and hand him over to the country under a protocol related to such an incident. Official sources say that the process may take a few days.

The Indian Army said that the Chinese soldier’s name is Wang or Long. Wang is a Corporal in the Chinese Army. The army said that Wang had wandered into the Indian border.

China’s military and military documents have been found from this soldier. The Indian Army gave this Chinese soldier warm clothes to avoid adverse weather and severe cold.

He was also provided food and drink along with providing medical help and oxygen.

According to the Indian Army, the Chinese Army requested a search for the missing soldier.

In view of this, the Indian Army will hand over Wang to China after completing all the formalities on military meeting point Chushul-Moldo under the protocol.

This initiative of the Indian Army is apparently a positive message from India, ahead of the eighth round of Commander-level talks between India and China to end the military standoff on LAC.

The People’s Liberation Army of China had requested the Indian Army to withdraw its soldier. The Indian Army has said that it will hand over this soldier to the People’s Liberation Army.

It is not that the Indian Army has shown such generosity for the first time. There have been many instances when the Indian Army has set an example of harmony.

On August 31, the Eastern Command of the Indian Army handed over 13 yaks and four calves of Chinese citizens to the Chinese authorities in East Kameng in Arunachal Pradesh.
