Chinese tanks would not be able to stand in front of the Indian tanks If the fight broke out. The Indian T-90 tanks would destroy the Chinese lightweight T-15 tanks, know what the Indian commander says.
The deadlock has continued with the Chinese military over the Line of Actual Control, LAC in eastern Ladakh for more than five months.
The Chinese People’s Liberation Army has deployed its lightweight tanks and cannons, in response to which India has also strengthened.
Tank commanders of the Indian Army say that China may be able to thrive on its machines but they will not be able to stand in front of India’s T-90 Bhishma tanks in the world’s highest battlefield (Eastern Ladakh).
A tank commander of the Indian Army said, “I believe that if the current situation took place and the tanks were included, then China’s lightweight tanks would not be able to compete with India’s T-90s and T-72s.”
The Indian official spoke on reports that China has deployed a large number of its lightweight tank T-15 on the other side of the LAC in East-Ladakh.
The Chinese media is reading ballads in praise of these tanks. He says that the operation of these lightweight tanks in high areas is very easy.
Another tank commander said that Indian T-90 and T-72 tanks can operate between very high and very low temperatures (50 degrees to minus 40 degrees). Presently, these tanks are deployed in the higher reaches of the world.
Regarding the performance of the tank in the high mountain area, the commander said that the Russian T-90 tanks are perfectly suited for operating in extremely cold weather.
The Indian Army has deployed these tanks in several areas of eastern Ladakh. The anti-aircraft gun mounted in the T-90 (Bhishma) tank protects it from airstrikes by unmistakable targets in a range of 2 km.
It is worth mentioning that in 2001 India bought more than 300 Bhishma tanks out of which 124 tanks were completely manufactured in Russia. Under the agreement, its other tanks were manufactured in Tamil Nadu through technology transfer.
Typically a tank is run by four to five people but it only carries three people. These include the commander, driver, and gunner. The tank has an automatic wrap loading facility. Not only this, different types of bombs and rockets can also be fired from this tank.
