Commander-Level Dialogue Between India-China Is Inconclusive

Commander-level dialogue between India and China is inconclusive, heavy deployment from both sides. Along with the deployment of heavy military equipment on both sides of the Line of Actual Control (LAC), negotiations are underway to reduce tensions between India and China.

Commander-level talks between the armies of the two countries took place in eastern Ladakh on Sunday. Government sources said that even in the brigade commander-level talks that lasted for four hours in the Chushul sector, no concrete result was found to reduce tension. Earlier, the talks between the two sides for six hours each on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday were also inconclusive.

There were also talks between Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and his Chinese counterpart Wei Fengay in Russia’s capital Moscow on Friday to ease tensions on the border. In this, Rajnath Singh bluntly said that China’s attempt to change the status quo on the border violated the bilateral agreement and would not be tolerated at any cost.

The situation on the border in eastern Ladakh remains fragile. Indian soldiers are fully alert and ready to deal with any situation. On the intervening night of the 29th and 30th of last month, Chinese troops tried to infiltrate Indian territory on the south bank of Pangong Lake. But Indian soldiers had driven the Chinese soldiers away.

After this incident, Indian troops have increased their deployment to many such strategy sites in the Chushul sector, from where every movement of Chinese troops can be monitored. Buoyed by the activeness of Indian troops, China has since deployed its tanks and anti-tank missiles to increase its strength in the region. After this action of the Chinese Army, India has also strengthened its position.

The Indian Army has taken up the case of the kidnapping of five people from the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) of the Subansiri district in Arunachal Pradesh. The PLA soldiers have kidnapped them. Union Minister of State for Home Kiran Rijiju tweeted, “The Indian Army has already sent a hotline message to Chinese military officers across the border in Arunachal Pradesh.” Awaiting reply. At the same time, the local police are also investigating the matter.
