Conspiracy To Target Amarnath Yatra Failed

Conspiracy to target Amarnath Yatra failed, police shot down a drone filled with explosives that entered the border.

Police foiled a major conspiracy by shooting down a drone sent with explosives from Pakistan in a village adjacent to the International Border in Hiranagar, the border area of Kathua, Jammu, and Kashmir.

Experts say that this drone was made in North Korea. Hexacopter means six wings. It is capable of carrying more.

This drone had four batteries. Seven magnetic bombs and seven under-barrel grenade launchers (UBGLs) were bundled with the drone.

Police are also not ruling out the possibility that the explosives could have been used to target the Amarnath Yatra.

Conspiracy to target Amarnath Yatra: Additional Director General of Police Mukesh Singh said that Pakistan is shocked to see peace in Jammu and Kashmir.

This is the third Pakistani drone loaded with arms and ammunition in the Jammu sector after June 2020.

The North Korean hexacopter drone from Pakistan entered the international border at Hiranagar at around 9 in the morning.

In Hariyachak Dilli village, some villagers informed the police of seeing the drone. The village is about 3 km away from the outskirts.

The police team reached the spot and shot at the drone and killed it. After this, a bomb disposal squad from Jammu was also called to the spot.

After a thorough investigation, it was found that the material attached to the drone is explosive.

When the Bomb Disposal Squad opened the explosives contained in a packet, there were seven magnetic sticky bombs and seven UBGLs.

The police confiscated the drone. District Police Chief Ramesh Chandra Kotwal had also reached the spot.

He said that the result of the strengthened security grid on the border for a few days is that the police have got such a big success. The conspiracy has been foiled with the help of vigilant villagers.

He has not ruled out linking the attempt to disturb the Amarnath Yatra.

Let us tell you, on May 14, too, a Pakistani drone was seen in Indian territory near the Indo-Pak International Border in the Arnia sector of RS Pura, Jammu.

On seeing this, the alert BSF jawans started firing on the border, due to which the drone returned to Pakistan.

The Chinese language is written on the battery of the drone: District Police Chief Ramesh Kotwal told that this drone has come from Pakistan.

The drone has two batteries, in which something is written in the Chinese language. It seems that the drone has a Chinese battery. A team of experts is coming from Jammu to investigate all this.

Sticky bombs used as IEDs: Sticky bombs, as the name suggests, are affixed to a vehicle for detonation. They are very small in size and terrorists can easily put them on vehicles and in sensitive places.

So that there will be a big bang. Sticky bombs are used as IEDs. And it takes only 5 to 10 minutes to burst and the damage is huge. The remote is used for detonation.
