Corona Curfew Extended Till May 6 In Four Districts Of J&K

Corona curfew extended till May 6 in four districts of Jammu and Kashmir, 3832 new cases of corona infection were reported.

In spite of the corona curfew in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, there has been a steady increase in cases of corona infection.

In the last 24 hours, there have been 3832 infections. This is the reason why now the government has decided to extend the Corona curfew in the four districts of the state till 7 am on May 6 to help break the corona infection chain.

The lockdown in all 20 districts of Jammu and Kashmir was to end at 7 am on Monday, but the government has issued orders to extend the lockdown in Srinagar, Baramulla, Budgam, and Jammu till 7 am on May 6.

At present, the lockdown continues in all 20 districts of Jammu and Kashmir. The lockdown will run until 7 am Monday.

People in Srinagar, Anantnag, Baramulla, and other districts of Jammu division and Jammu and other districts of Jammu division are seen following the lockdown themselves. Meanwhile, in the last 24 hours, 47 corona-infected patients died.

The dead included a pregnant woman who was a resident of Ramnagar.

With this, Srinagar district has so far recorded the highest number of deaths, 546 in Srinagar district, 496 in Jammu district, 199 in Baramulla, 132 in Budgam, 111 in Anantnag, 102 in Kupwara, 101 in Pulwama.
