Corona Explosion In Kerala, Experts Warn About The Third Wave

Corona explosion in Kerala, experts warn about the third wave, politics also heats up.

The corona situation in Kerala is becoming uncontrollable and the infection rate has reached more than 12 percent.

The situation is that almost half of the new cases of corona coming to the country every day are coming from Kerala alone.

Not only this, Kerala alone accounts for more than 37 percent of the total active cases of corona in the country.

Experts have warned that if the infection is not controlled in the state, then it can become the cause of the third wave of the corona.

Weekend lockdown decision.

In view of the increasing cases of the Covid-19 epidemic in Kerala, the state government has decided to impose a weekend lockdown.

At the same time, the Union Health Secretary has given written instructions to the state government that there is a need to follow the covid guidelines in the state in a proper manner.

At the same time, politics has also heated up due to the tightening of restrictions.

Politics also heats up.

Leader of the Opposition VD Satheesan has said that we have to change the ban procedures. The government is imposing unscientific restrictions across the state.

The government should be allowed to open shops for all seven days instead of one day to manage the crowd.

On the other hand, Union Minister V Muraleedharan has termed the relaxation of restrictions on Eid by the Kerala government as unscientific.

Center sent the team.

Concerned about the Corona explosion in Kerala, the central government has sent a six-member team of experts to Kerala.

A senior health ministry official said the team of experts being sent to Kerala is being led by Dr. SK Singh, Director, National Center for Disease Control (NCDC).

This team will visit the most affected districts of Kerala to take stock of the reasons for the explosive situation of Corona and suggest measures to prevent it.

Speed of infection.

The senior official said that after reaching Kerala on Friday, the team will hold discussions with state government officials and help them tide over the situation.

The concern of the central government has also increased because the pace of corona infection in Kerala has remained fast since the beginning of this year.

Things are not getting better in Kerala.

In January also, Kerala was the second state after Maharashtra where the number of infected started increasing every day.

After the second wave, there was a gradual decline in infections in June, but the trend continued from the last week of June.

Apart from Kerala, only the northeastern states are such, where the infection rate remains more than 10 percent.

Experts warn.

Experts believe that due to the high infection rate for a long time, the risk of mutation in the virus increases and it can take a more lethal form.

The senior official said that it is necessary to rein in the infection in Kerala, otherwise, it can also become the cause of the third wave of the corona.
